The PANAMERICAN JUDO UNION invites all the affiliated countries to the I PANAMERICAN JUNIOR (17 to 19 year Old) TEAMS CHAMPIONSHIP, which will take place simultaneously with the Official Championship in accordance with the following basis:

Date and Venue: Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic – On Saturday, April14^th, 2007

Categories: Men and Women

   Women: -48, -52, -63, -70 -78 Kg.
   Men:       -60, -66, -81, -90 -100 Kg.

Note: Only Junior Competitor

Participants: All affiliated countries with a team of five members, as maximum, and three members as minimum, for both men and women. International Judo Federation’s Team competence rules shall be used, adopted by the Pan-American Judo Union.

Registration: Nominal and Numeric Registration, together with the official registration of the countries in the before stated.

Draw: During the Technical Meeting.

Awards: Gold Medals (5) , Silver (5), 2 Bronze (10)

Competition System:

   Up to 5 teams Round Robin (everybody against everybody)

   More than 5 competitors, over-crossed Repechage
