The Registration Numeric Form shall be sent before March 1st

PARTICIPATION RULES

a) Each country shall participate with: One competitor per category of weight

b) Each competitor must be able to prove his / her identity, age, nationality, through a official passport from the country of origin, excepting the Argentinean Competitors, who will only need their National Identity Document.

Juvenile 15 & 16 years old  (born in 1987 & 1988)

The athletes shall present their passport and their respective event’s accreditation so as to verify his / her identity before the Official weighs in. All the athletes shall be affiliated to the Pan-American Judo Union, and in case of being black belts, they must be recognized by the PJU (Resolutions 1 and 2 – Pan-American Judo Congress – Santo Domingo 2002)

Sunday 30 (South American Championships)

FOOD AND LODGING

a)     Sixty American Dollars (USD 60) daily per person, which includes lodging, food and internal transportation from and to the airport, the hotel, the training places and the Competition venue.

RULES

THE PAN AMERICAN AND SOUTH AMERICAN JUDO CHAMPIONSHIPS, CATEGORIES: MALES AND FEMALES , will be conducted in accordance with the current Rules of the International Judo Federation (IJF)

1. The Athletes of the Categories 15 and 16  years old (Junior), they won't be able to participate in the competitions of the category from 17 to 19  years old (Juvenile) and vice versa.

2. In the Juvenile Category 15 and 16 years  old are forbidden the techniques of levers or separations (KANSETSU WAZA), but they will be admitted the techniques of strangulations (SHIME WAZA), those competitors of the category of 15 and 16 years old that intentionally any Kansetsu Waza applies they will be admonished with DIRECT HANSOKUMAKE.

COMPULSORY FINAL DECISIONS:

1. Competitors: 20 US $

2. Officials: 30 US $ (delegates, referees, doctors, physiotherapists and coaches)

3. Dan Grade recognition: 60 US $
