Distinguished Gentlemen:
We are aware of the invitation that you are formulating in name of the International Judo Federation (IJF) to the panamerican countries, for a meeting in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on the day’s of February 28th and 29th 2008
On that matter, we warned them that if within the points that they are promoting is the one to turn that meeting into an assembly thus to dismiss of illegal way and violator of the Statutes to the Members of the Executive Committee of the Panamerican Judo Union (UPJ), their actions will be penalized according to the Effective Statutes of our continental organization, specifically the established one in Section D. Loss of affiliation, point 3.
For consequential aims we sent copy of this letter of warning to its respective National Olympic Committees which properly inform them into its performances and they assume the future responsibility before the sport of its country.
