REGISTRATION:

b)      Each country can participate with only one (1) competitor for each category and weight division.

c)      Referees should have at least Regional license.  They should be supported by the CCJ Refereeing Director and their Federation.

d)     Each competitor should demonstrate identity, age and nationality by his/her Official Passport. Guatemalan could demonstrate their identity by their local I. D. document.

Every athlete should be member of the Pan-American Judo Union and if they are black belt should be recognized by the UPJ (Resolutions 01 and 02 of the Pan-American Congress of Judo – Santo Domingo 2002)

These Championships are official events of the Pan-American Judo Union, any participant registered should fulfil the resolutions of the UPJ Congress, regarding the annual membership payment resolution of 2004 congress. If not they must be paid at registration time according to the following:

1. Athletes:     US$20.00

2. Officials:     US$30.00 (delegates, referees, trainers, technician personnel, doctors, masseurs)

3. Level Recognition (Dan): US$60.00

e)      Registration will be open since the reception of this summon until April 09, 2007.

Juvenile Championship, (ages -20 year old)
All the participants will have been born January 1 1988 or in later date to this.

CATEGORIES:

Male and Female

SENIOR CHAMPIONSHIP DIVISIONS:

Female:           44, 48, 52, 57, 63, 70, 78, + 78, Open
Male:               55, 60, 66, 73, 81, 90, 100, + 100, Open

COMPETITION SYSTEM:

Less than 6 competitors:        Round Robin
6 or more competitors:           Direct eliminatory with repechaje.

DURATION OF CONTEST:

Female Category:       four (4) minutes
Male Category:            four (4) minutes

AWARDS:

Medals: 1st, 2nd, and two third places in each division.

Delegations departure

ACCOMODATION:

The lodging and the delegate's feeding, two referees and a technical assistant for participant country, he/she will run for bill of the Organizing Committee in the understood dates from the August 16 to 19, 2007.
Daily cost per participant US$27.00; US$25.00 to cover expenses in the host country, and US$2.00 CCJ fee. Previous or later staying to the established dates will be charged to the delegations US$50.00 per day per person.  Payment should be made the arrival day without exceptions.

TECHNICAL PERSONNEL:

Every participant country should bring one technical official who has received the course of the Organization Judo Championship, so that he could be part of the team of CCJ Organization Championships, whom will be in charge of these championships.

REFEREEING EXAM:

The Panamerican Judo Union has approved the request for examinations of referee for IJF Continental FIJ and PJU Regional, and inscribed (registered) because of one for country member of CCJ or of any another country member of the Panamerican Union Judo and two for the country headquarters, for category (Regional and Continental).

AREAS:

Two official areas will be used.  Each country should include two referees in their delegation.  They will receive accommodation by the Organizing Committee.

TRANSPORTATION:

Guatemalan Judo Federation will provide local transportation.

Delegation itinerary must be send via fax or e-mail no later than April 09, 2007 (time, flight number and airline)

CEREMONIES:

During the Technical Congress, Opening and Closing Ceremony information will be provided.

ANTHEMS AND FLAGS:

Each country will bring a flag 1.2 x 1.80 mts, and National Anthem (short version) cassette, or CD. Both should be delivered at the arrival and gathered at the departure of the delegation.

REGULATIONS:

The Tournament will be subjected to the current Regulations and Statutes of the IJF, UPJ and CCJ. The use of white and blue judogis will be obligatory without exception.

MEDICAL SERVICE:

The Organizing Committee will provide emergency medical service to every participant officially registered in the tournament, in the national red of hospitals under the regulations of these institutions. In case a delegation would like to use the service of a private hospital, all the expenses should be burned by the delegation.  The Guatemalan Judo Federation will not be responsible for any accident, sickness or injure that any member of the participant delegations could suffer in these championships.

EVENTUALITIES:

Any situation not foreseen in the regulations or the present convocation that he/she takes place during the tournament, it will be studied and solved by the Organizing Committee in consultation with the authorities of the PJU and respective CJC according to the topic that it is.
