TECHNICAL BASIS

1.   ORGANIZATION – Organization of X Trasandinos Youth Games will be in charge of Solidarity Angenci and Sport, The Pan American Judo Union, Riojana Judo Federation under control and sponsoring of Argentina Judo Confederation.

2.   SEDE.                     La Rioja – Estadium  CARLOS SAUL MENEM

3.   DATE.                     March 10 – 18, 2007

4.   DELEGATIONS.- Each delegation will be conform by:

a.- Atlhetes:            16 (08 Women – 08 Men).

b.- Coaches:            02 (two)

C.-  Delegates          01 (one)

d.- Referees:           01 (one)                                   Total: 20 (Twenty) people

5.   ENTRIES.- According to General Basis of the X Trasandina Youth Games, ARGENTINA 2007.

6.   COMPETITION.-

a.- The present competition will be based by the actual rules of PAN AMERICAN JUDO UNION, ARGENTINIAN CONFEDERATION AND INTERNATIONAL JUDO FEDERATION.

b.- Can participate athletes born  1988 – 1989 – 1990 – 1991 and 1992, it means, 15 years old and official Juvenile and Junior.

     c.- Rank of Judokas will be free for particicpation.

     d.- Competition System: ROUND ROBIN  and DOUBLE REPECHAGE.

     e.- Competition time: Four minutes male and female and eliminatory and finals.

     f- Weight – in:According to the rules of PAN AMERICAN JUDO UNION, ARGENTINIAN CONFEDERATION AND INTERNATIONAL JUDO FEDERATION; it will be in charge of three referees designed by Refereeing Commission and Dirección Deportiva Nacional of the CAJ. No coaches or delegates will be allowed to be there.

     g.- Draw: Will be in Weight-in place.  Organizing commission can be there together with delegates.

   h.- Combats Direction: in charge of PAN AMERICAN JUDO UNION  REFEREEING COMMISSION, ARGENTITNIAN JUDO CONFEDERATION and RIOJANA JUDO FEDERATION.

    i.- REFEREEIN CLINIC:  before of competition a clinic will be done, all officially designed referees will participate. This clinic will be in charged of PAN AMERICAN JUDO UNION REFEREEING DIRECTOR.

     j.-  SCORING.

IPPON     10 Points;

WAZARI   7 Points;         

YUKO      5 Points

KOKA      3 Points

HANTEI   1 Points

7. CATEGORIES: JUVENILES AND JUNIOR (1988 – 1989 – 1990 -  1991 and 1992)

March 12: Delegates meeting. Clinic and Congress

March 13: SHIAI - Individual

March 14: SHIAI -  Individual

March 15: Morning: KATAS

                  Afternoon: Eliminatory TEAMS

March 16: Finals TEAMS

March 17: Closing Ceremony – Awarding Ceremony

9. AWARDING- According to General Basis of X Trasandinos Youth Games ARGENTINA  2007.

10. AUTHORITIES- All authorities belong to PAN AMERICAN JUDO UNION, Argentinean Judo Confederation and to Riojana Judo Federation; Referees, judges and official of the delegations will join them

11. SCORING BY CATEGORY.- The following is the scoring to be assigned categories, each of the events and male and female categories. The total averages of them will show the winner.
