The year 2002 was filled with great accomplishments for Panamerican Judo with the development of important regional and continental events. The celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Panamerican Judo, the making of the
first ever seminars of refereeing, training, and education, altogether, it has been a great year. Now we have the challenges of 2003 with the Panamerican and Olympic qualifiers, as well as the 2003 Pan American Games.
Aside from many other activities and events of great meaning that we will accomplish with the customary success.

I take the opportune time to wish you a Merry Christmas and a very Happy and prosperous 2003 full of accomplishments and love besides your families and loved ones.
