Saturday, December 1, 2007 – Individual Shiai Tournament
Sunday, December 2, 2007 – Open &Team Shiai Tournament

Presented in the new installations of the Club Judokas Jonquière, Ville Saguenay, Canada, the edition of the 5th Pan Am Masters Judo Championships which took place from November 30 to December 2 is revealed an undeniable success. Representatives from Brazil, Colombia, Puerto-Rico, United States and Canada took part in these championships. In the kata competition, which was held Friday November 30 under the direction of sensei Kuniko Takeuchi, 15 teams took part and we had right to high calibre presentations. Saturdays December 1, more than 50 judokas took part in the individual shai, the spectators present had right to see very good performance. Finally, Sunday December 2, the open and teams competitions took place. Team BRASCAN made up of representatives of Brazil and Canada gained the palm with a perfect score of 10 victories and 0 defeats followed of the team ML Judo Sport and the team Judokas Jonquière which took part in this competition.

The Pan American Masters Judo Association would like to thank the Pan American Judo Union, Judo Canada and Judo Quebec for their support and makes a point particularly of thanking sensei Roger Tremblay and its group of extraordinary volunteers for the organization of this championship and the reception reserved to all the participants.
