THE PJU DIRECTING COMMITTEE SUSPENDS Mr. JORGE ARMADA FOR 5 YEAR

With this letter we are remitting you the Resolution of the Executive Committee of the Panamerican Judo Union that was released in its reunion that was held in Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands on the 10^th and 11^th of February of 2007,  we specify:

 

22. - Subject: Mr. Jorge Armada, President of Puerto Rican Judo Federation:

 

On this issue, the PJU President describes how for a long time Mr. Jorge Armada has dedicated himself to offend the members of the Executive Committee, a compilation was made of the offensive letters he has written, and where he addresses in offensive forms, at least 14 documents, among them to the PJU President and other members.

 

After the recommendation of the PJU Congress, the President sent a letter to Mr. Jorge Armada so he certifies the terms of the sent documents and the response was totally evasive and not clear, avoiding the certification of the said letters.

 

Following the recommendations of the Ordinary Congress held this past November 28^th 2006, the following is resolved:

 

To suspend, as in effect suspend of all activity of organized judo on the international level the President of the Puerto Rican Judo Federation, for a term of five (5) years, Mr. Jorge Armada for his careless treatment and lack of respect by referring repeatedly in documents of his authorship in offensive form, using disqualifying adjectives against the members of the PJU such as... "Temporal Character “...,… "Distinguished and Impartial Director"...,”Dictator"..., "Hegemonic Director"..... Etc. treating the members of the PJU Executive Committee in contemptuous form when referring to them as....."Close collaborators of Mr. the President of the PJU"...., and to even describe pejoratively the PJU Ordinary Congress... "The circus they pretend to celebrate"..., all this expressed in different communications, remitted to the different National Federations and being of public knowledge against the members of the Executive Committee of the Panamerican Judo Union, where he also openly uttered accusations with no basis of truth,  which to this date he has not been able to demonstrate against the Venezuelan Judo Federation and the PJU when expressing in an email dated on 27/11/06 addressed to the Federated Presidents of the Panamerican Judo Union where he said that... "entrance to Venezuela was denied to him".... to participate in the PJU Ordinary Congress of that was held in the city of Maracaibo, Zulia State, Venezuela, this past November 28th 2006.

 

For this reason from this moment on the Puerto Rican Judo Federation (FEPURJUDO) will have to be represented at the Panamerican Judo Union by another member of its executive committee for the relevant matters…”
