PRESIDENT CASANOVA
VISITS JUDO BAHAMAS

Bahamas, The activities
started in 2007 to the President of Pan American Judo Union Eng Jaime Casanova
Martinez, he visited this capital city of the Caribbean country in order to keep
a very important exchange of impressions with the main directives of Bahamas
Judo Association.
En fact, Mr. D’Arcy Rahming, president of local Judo Association hosted the Eng Casanova Martinez in a short visit since January 10 to 12.
Along this meeting and as a main topic 20 judo clubs were visited, they are mainly placed in schools and are which keep the local Federation on service.
In the meeting some other aspects like stuff and equipment facilities and technical support about coaches who can help to develop the high competition there, can be sent by Pan American Judo Union’s Education Commission.
This time the Eng Casanova was gifted with the book ‘Secrets of Combat Ju Jutsu’ written by Mr. D’Arcy. This book is the official text of Miyama Ryu who has written five books and about 100 articles about self-defense.
“President Casanova has given Bahamas a great visit, he shows once again how important these small Caribbean countries are and also his managing, technical and competitive overcome to develop our judo” said the president Rahming at the end of the visit.
“I’m following instructions from Pan American Judo Union’s Director Committee about visiting countries of reduce territory to make them feel how important they are to our entity and working for their overcome as we want to keep the effective participation of the 42 countries affiliated to the Pan American Judo Union” remarked Eng Casanova Martinez.
