PANAMERICAN JUDO UNION VISITS JAMAICA
Kingston, Jamaica.-
The
engineers Jaime Casanova Martinez and Edgar Claure, made a stop in the town
of KINGSTON, capital of Jamaica for a brief but fruitful visit where they
met with the President of Jamaica Judo Federation Professor Victor Salazar
to review the activities of this affiliated organization with the
Panamerican Judo Union.
The discussed points were about possible exchanges with the neighboring countries, transfer of athletes for training in other countries, technical assistance with trainer from PJU, donation of judo suits and other equipments. It was an important visit according to the policy of the Executive Committee of the PJU to know the needs of his affiliated and to contribute to its most important solutions.
"This is the most significant visit that the Judo of Jamaica has had since the beginning of its practices several ago decades and we will always be very grateful to the PJU for this contribution and the concern shown for the small countries of limited resources", the president of the Jamaican Judo Federation said when parting ways with engineers Casanova and Claure.
